PORTERVILLE LIBRARY OFFERS LUNCH AT THE LIBRARY SUMMER PROGRAM

Porterville, CA - The Porterville Library is excited to welcome local families to its annual Lunch at the Library program, running weekdays starting June 8th through August 7th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Porterville Library, located at 50 W. Olive Ave., Suite B, Porterville, CA 93257.

 

Designed for children and teens ages 18 and under, the program provides a free nutritious lunch each day, while accompanying caregivers receive a complimentary snack. In addition, every child will have the opportunity to take home a free book each day, helping encourage summer reading and literacy.

 

Lunch at the Library offers much more than a meal. Families can enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including arts and crafts, educational workshops, and interactive presentations from library staff and community partners. Featured activities throughout the summer include visits from Elite Team, presentations by the Fire Department, art workshops, junk journaling, bead-making activities, movie days, and many other fun and enriching experiences.
