Porterville, CA - The City of Porterville invites the community to take part in a special Historical Flag Walk Event on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Centennial Park located at 296 N. Main St. This engaging and family-friendly event is part of the City’s Porterville 100 Centennial Celebration and is held in conjunction with the nationwide America 250 commemoration.
The Historical Flag Walk will offer attendees a unique opportunity to explore the historical American flags lining Main Street and learn about the history and significance behind each design. Guided flag walks will highlight key moments in American history while celebrating the heritage and pride of the Porterville community.
In addition to the flag walk experience, guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including informational booths, giveaways, and interactive opportunities for all ages. Exclusive Porterville 100 and America 250 merchandise will be available, along with face painting and other family-friendly activities.
