Children's Christmas Parade
A Porterville Community staple event, the Children's Christmas Parade brings thousands of people out in the evening for a grand show of delight featuring children, for the many families and community members of our local area. Each year we make great memories with all who participate and make this event come to life! There's opportunities to participate for fun, promote your business, and join in the spirit of the holiday season.

Children's Christmas parade 2025
The 2025 Children's Christmas Parade will be happening Thursday, December 4th, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. You can review this year's event cycle to prepare for what we have to offer this year!
Event Cycle:
September:
- Entry registrations are released and theme is announced on September 2nd.
November:
- Deadline for all entry registrations: Tuesday, November 11th, 12 p.m.
- This will be the last date to turn in applications unless all 80 entries are reached before the deadline, then we will stop accepting applications sooner. All entries are accepted in a first-come, first-served basis.
December:
- Line up results will be posted on December 2nd or 3rd.
- Event takes place on December 4th, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. The route will commence on Morton Ave. and end on Olive Ave.
Registration forms
Registrations begin in September and will close on November, Friday 15 at 4 p.m. If we meet our entry limit, we will have to close down registrations sooner.
