Community Champions: Porterville’s Nonprofits – The Elks Lodge

As a long-standing fraternal organization, the Elks Lodge has been uniting members through community services, philanthropy and fellowship for over 150 years. The Elks were founded and are still committed to promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity.

Porterville $6000 Beacon Grant was distributed among 4 local Elementary schools. Monte vista, Belleview, Alta Vista and Vandalia, each received $1500 for the purchase of backpack for 120-130 students backpack will be filled with snack and items to help children keep busy during summer. Donations Presented by Porterville Elks #1342 President Chad Everett, Treasurer Sylvia Caldera-Martinez, & Trustee Jayne Fusick Anderson
