Toshia Escalera - Porterville Drycleaners

I started out working at the Press Shop drycleaners in Lindsay as a young girl in 2001. We had a fire in our Porterville shop in 2003 and when we reopened I came to work in the Porterville shop. I worked while raising 4 children and I eventually became manager and worked until November 2022 when the previous owner Karen Jordan retired. In 2019 My husband John and I, along with our 4 children, moved to the city of Hanford to be Senior Pastors of Victory Outreach. I continued to commute and work in Porterville as I love my job, love my customers, and have strong ties with the community here in Porterville. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2021, but God saw me through and has completely healed me so when the opportunity came up for me to purchase the business in July 2023 alongside my husband we jumped on it and renamed it Porterville Drycleaners. Our Longtime Presser Sandra has rejoined me, as well as my oldest son Aaron and previous owner Karen. We have loved and welcomed all the support of our returning customers, as well as the new ones we are meeting. We pride ourselves on customer service and satisfaction as well as being a family-oriented business. Along with drycleaning we also offer laundry service, wedding gown preservation, and a variety of alterations. I have been in this business for over 20 years and I just love being involved in the community and helping any way possible. We are currently open Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
